The MICHELIN Euro Assist application supports road transport professionals.

It allows customers registered with the MICHELIN Euro Assist program to trigger a repair request in the event of a tire incident on a heavy goods vehicle from their smartphone. The position and necessary data are collected and transmitted to MEA to optimize response times. The application also allows you to receive messages from MICHELIN Euro Assist and to geolocate useful services nearby: tire distributors, service stations, ATMs, etc.

3 types of profiles are possible:

• Drivers authorized to initiate a breakdown without authorization from their operations manager

• Drivers can trigger a repair but with a validation loop by the operations manager

• Operations managers authorized to validate intervention requests

Functioning :

1. The application geolocates the driver and asks him, if necessary, to validate his position

2. The application allows you to quickly and precisely describe the incident and send all the useful data to the MICHELIN Euro Assist assistance teams who will quickly organize the repair

3. Depending on the validation method chosen, an authorization request will be automatically sent to the operations manager's telephone, describing the conditions and nature of the incident.

4. The MICHELIN Euro Assist assistance teams will then do everything possible to get the vehicle on the road again as quickly as possible and will inform you of the arrival time of the breakdown service.

To save time, it is advisable to pre-fill the user profile. This profile can be completed manually or with the help of a specific QR code provided by the MICHELIN Euro Assist sales teams.

The MICHELIN Euro Assist application allows you to precisely locate the driver and ensure quality information without language barriers throughout Europe (subject to GSM coverage by your operator)
