Leveling up quickly is the most consistent way to unlock more artifacts and Tablets. The Golden Maple Leaf helps you gain XP faster, which means more options, faster scaling, and a better chance to solidify your build early on.
Companions might not seem flashy, but they’re incredibly useful for controlling the room. They’ll distract enemies and bosses, giving you more breathing room to dodge or deal damage.
A fantastic starting artifact. It deals solid damage, has good accuracy, and can pierce multiple enemies if you line them up just right. Great for clearing rooms efficiently in the early game.

After a few runs, you can unlock the Destiny Inscription called "Home Repair". Head back to town and talk to Ken. He’ll give you a side quest to repair your house.
