A FUN WAY TO EXERCISE AND DEVELOP PHONOLOGICAL SKILLS.

"The Train of Words" is an interactive and multimedia game ideal for children who are in the stage of acquisition of reading and writing.

Its essential objective is to help the child to understand that a prayer (oral or written) is the result of a sequence of words that are articulated in a certain order to transmit an idea or message. This is how the game allows awareness of:

1) the basic structure of the sentence formed by a subject (who) and simple predicate (what)

2) The syntactic structure of the sentence determines the message that it wants to transmit

3) The existence of gender concordance (male - female) and number (singular - plural) between the components of the sentence

4) Prayers enrich the message they express when new words are incorporated into their structure (how - when - where)

5) Visual words recognition favors direct decoding route

6) The auditory perception of words stimulates their visual recognition and the awareness of the order in which they are articulated within a sentence.

The game is specially designed for children of 4 or more years to become familiar with words and prayers thanks to their playful images, a great sound and, most importantly, an easy way of use.

"The train of words" consists in walking the train from the choice and order of the images/words according to a previously narrated animation.

For example, in the first free version an animation appears (a rabbit jumping a trunk); The child must select the image/word that he considers correct and drag it to the base of each car generating a sentence according to the animation.

If the image/word is correct, the child obtains the stars corresponding to each letter of the right word, those that leave the car and jump to the train. Once the sentence is completed, the arrow is pressed to continue, a phrase of congratulations are heard and the train begins a new destination.
