The IV-Calculator is an advanced hand held calculator, which will assist nurses and doctors in calculating the exact dosages of intravenous medicine. The IV-MedCalc guarantees a much safer and faster result than the ordinary pocket calculator. The light version shows the calculation types, but can't calculate.
The IV-Calculator is a program tailor made to the needs of doctors and nurses and the hand held version makes it a convenient tool for a busy hospital environment. The new version adds a language menu, which makes it possible to switch between English or Spanish userintyerface.
The IV-Calculator has undergone extensive trials at Copenhagen University Hospital (RigsHospitalet) and at the Nursing College in Copenhagen - Denmark. The trials clearly demonstrated that the IV-Calculator made it possible to determine the correct dosages of intravenous medicine faster and with fewer mistakes.
