The “ Irving Penn ” application is the official application of the exhibition held in Paris, at the Grand Palais, from September 21, 2017 to January 29, 2018. It offers information on the exhibition and a discovery of the work of this great American photographer.

About the exhibition " Irving Penn ":
The year 2017 celebrates the centenary of the birth of Irving Penn , one of the greatest photographers of the 20th century. In partnership with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Grand Palais pays tribute to this talented artist, famous for his photographs of major personalities such as Pablo Picasso, Yves Saint Laurent, Audrey Hepburn, Alfred Hitchcock, etc. His work is characterized by an elegant simplicity and remarkable rigor, from the studio to the draw to which Penn gives meticulous care. Remented faithful to studio photography, he created, in each portrait, a real intimacy with his model, which constitutes the signature of Irving Penn .
This exhibition is organized by the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the meeting of national museums - Grand Palais, in collaboration with The Irving Penn Foundation.
It is organized in three main parts:
1- "The exhibition": presentation of the exhibition hall by room with illustrations.
2- "Information": program and activities around the exhibition.
3- "Audioguides": audioguidated route of the exhibition
-Adioguidated course for adults in French with 30 works explained and illustrated;
-Adioguidated course for adults in English with 30 works explained and illustrated;
-Adioguidated course for children in French with 20 works explained and illustrated.
The application also provides access to the exhibition ticket office where all visiting and actual visits are presented.
