Apata -
Application of sustainable transportation for the city of Santiago de Chile
It is common to see unoccupied buses behind others that travel full and
that belong to the same service. This happens due to the problems of
regularity of buses and increased waiting times, which
motivates users who crowd at bus stops to get on the first
arriving bus
Through Apata , users will be able to view the
whereabouts, stations and charging points of the system in general.
They will also have the option to evaluate the state of the infrastructure and the
service quality.
In the case of bicycles, the application shows information about
bike lanes, rental stations, parking lots, workshops and stores.
Likewise, in the future there will be the possibility for pedalers to record the routes they
they will use.
